Hannah (Faerialist) is a multidisciplinary creative, dedicated to creating and exposing new worlds, by any means possible. As an award winning Aerial Performer, specialising in Single-Point Aerial Hoop and Silks, she has trained and performed with companies in the UK, Ireland, Spain, Canada, the USA, and Mexico since 2014. [Resume]
She lives her life passionately exploring and finding expression through her artistic abilities, such as creative composite photo editing, video editing, making miniatures, crystal jewellery, sewing, portraiture, and writing.
Alongside her own training, intensive aerial courses with world-renowned tutors, performances, and other creative work, from 2013-2017 she studied for her BA (Hons) English Literature and Creative Writing, and graduated in late 2017 with a 2:1, before flying to Vancouver, to begin touring the USA and Canada as an aerialist with the “Spectacle Opera” performance company, Caravan Stage Company a few months later. During this tour, she was awarded the Mike Moloney Award from The Arts Council of Northern Ireland, which allowed her to fly to Guadalajara, Mexico, for six months in 2019 to gain training from NMOR Espectáculos y Multimedia. After spending some time gaining further training in Barcelona, she was set to return to Canada to once again join the cast for Caravan Stage Company’s new show, before it was postponed to March 2021 due to the Coronavirus. She spent this time honing her skills as a Creative Editor, and once again was successful in obtaining funding from ACNI to purchase a free-standing rig and crashmat, to allow her to continue her training safely, and to sell her acts independently.
She will join Caravan Stage Company as an aerialist and choreographer on tour for their new show 'Virtual Rouges', from March 2021 - October 2021.
